Yoga for your active life

You want to keep saying yes to the things you love.

You want to enjoy the weekend hike, ride your mountain bike, or run your favorite route. On vacation, you want to spend the day exploring somewhere new. When winter comes, you want to ski or snowboard as often as you can.

You’re thinking about the years ahead, too. You want to keep doing these things as you get older, especially now that you have more time for the plans on your bucket list.

But your hips feel tight when you get off the bike or it’s taking longer to warm up at the start of workouts. You stretch the same spots over and over, but don’t really feel the difference you hope for.

When you practice yoga, you’d like your balance to feel steadier, your transitions to feel stronger, or a pose you’ve been working on forever to start making sense. You want to understand what you’re doing and why, and see progress from practicing consistently.

You enjoy yoga, but don’t practice as often as you mean to. Knowing what to practice, finding time around your other workouts, and sticking with it is tough sometimes.

Focus on your practice

Know what to work on to see real progress

When you want a pose to feel stronger or a movement to feel easier, it helps to know what to practice.

You wish someone would break it all down, so you can understand where to place your hands, your feet, how to shift your weight, or what variations are available. It’s hard to do all this in a typical yoga class.

You want to feel more comfortable doing the activities you love, while getting stronger and more confident in your yoga practice. We’ll work on strength, flexibility, and balance through practices that give you time to understand the movement and keep improving it.

That’s what I teach you in the Yoga Accelerator. I’ll walk you through everything step-by-step, starting with the basics, then balance & flexibility, backbends, arm balances, and inversions. Each week I’ll guide you through one focus area & you can revisit what you’re learning at any time.

Throughout the program, you’ll work on steadier balance, more control moving from pose to pose, and the steps toward arm balances like crow. I’ll help you understand what to practice so you can keep building on it.

“I felt I got my money’s worth and more. The breakdown videos for new poses were excellent, and learning the Niyamas and Yamas added so much depth.”

Your self-guided Accelerator

A practice you can follow, understand, and keep developing.

The Yoga Accelerator brings the next steps together in 12 progressive modules. You begin with the fundamentals, then explore new positions and skills. Each week builds on what you’ve already practiced, so you develop the skills you’ll use in later modules.

Plan for less than 90 minutes a week at the suggested pace. The on-demand videos are short, so you can fit the lessons and practices into your week. And you’ll have access to come back to any sessions when you need it.

  • 12 progressive modules. Know what to practice next, with a new focus each week.
  • Step-by-step pose breakdowns. Understand the movement and find a progression to work on.
  • Breathwork practices. Get familiar with using your breath during yoga.
  • Practical lessons on the 8 limbs of yoga. Deepen your understanding of the wider practice, with reflection prompts to help you apply it.
  • Weekly coaching emails. Get guidance as you follow the program independently.
  • Lifetime access. Repeat a module, take more time, and return to what you want to keep working on.

You control the pace, so you can work through the program on your own schedule.

Hear from Real Students

What students noticed in their practice and daily life.

“I’m a runner and a lifter, and I always struggled with yoga because I didn’t have the time for an hour-long studio practice. This program taught me that you don’t need an hour every time for it to count as yoga. It can be a 10, 15, 20-minute practice at home. That’s been the most helpful thing, and now I’m doing yoga once or twice a week because of it.”

Kori

Runner and lifter. Outflow Yoga Accelerator graduate.

★★★★★

“I went to Japan for a week, hiking over rocks, roots, and stairs all day, and came back with no sore quads or hips. Stronger shoulders and forearms. My forward fold improved too.”

Before you begin

Make room for the practice you want.

What if I’m new to yoga?

Start with goal setting, sun salutations, standing poses, and breath fundamentals. The program builds from there. Use the progressions at your current level and repeat the breakdowns as needed.

I already take classes. What would this add?

If you want more instruction, time to explore technique, or a sequence for developing new skills, the Yoga Accelerator gives that work a place in your week. You can use what you learn in the classes you already enjoy.

I want to feel less stiff. Do I have to work on inversions?

The program includes foundations, balance, twists, binds, splits, and backbends before introducing arm balances and inversions. You can work with the preparation and variations that suit you. It’s a broad yoga program for developing your practice, with strength and flexibility work throughout.

What if I want to learn crow or headstand?

The later modules give those skills focused attention. You’ll learn the preparation and mechanics, practice the steps, and return to the lessons as you develop confidence and control. Your pace will depend on your starting point and practice.

How do I fit this around my other workouts?

The suggested rhythm takes less than 90 minutes a week. Choose openings you can return to, such as after a workout, on a recovery day, or during a weekday evening. The recorded content lets you decide when to practice.

What if a busy week throws me off?

Return to the next lesson when you’re ready. Twelve weeks is the suggested pace, and lifetime access gives you time to revisit the content and spend longer on a skill.

What support is included?

You get recorded instruction, practices, reflection prompts, and weekly coaching emails. You’ll follow the program independently. Private calls, individual check-ins, personal pose feedback, and direct messaging support aren’t included.

Is $199 a subscription?

No. It’s a one-time purchase of the self-guided Accelerator, with lifetime access to program content.

Your teacher

Meet Heather Blackmon, Yoga Teacher and Movement Coach

I run, mountain bike, hike, and teach snowboarding. I’ve spent more than 15 years coaching across endurance sports, strength training, and yoga, so I understand how a practice needs to fit around the activities you love.

I built the Yoga Accelerator to give you a clear sequence to follow. Each week has a focus, with instruction that helps you understand the movement and practice the next step.

I spent 10 years trying crow pose before someone broke it down in a way that made sense to me. That experience shaped how I teach: explain the mechanics, give you clear steps, and help you understand what to work on.
